Measuring system 9755.50

The measuring system 9755.50 provides a manual cost effective solution for determination of weight and volume data of cubic packages. The external dimensions of the item are determined by the user using a handscanner, while the scale determines the weight. A measuring operation only takes a few seconds. Your item master data thus can be kept error free and up to date.

The integration of secondary data, such as item number or EAN code makes a manual post-processing of manually measured item master data unnecessary. Typing errors belong to the past. The captured data can be transmitted online to a higher-level computer system or a printer. With accurate, gap free knowledge of item data for storage, packaging and transport, hitherto not or insufficiently
exploited potential for rationalization can be developed.

Measuring system 9755.60

The measuring system 9755.60 determines semi-automatic weight and volume data of cubic packages.

The external dimensions of the cubic items are automatically determined by the sensor, while the scale determines the weight. A measuring operation only takes a few seconds. Portal measuring system 9750.60

The freight is moved by forklift, a hand pallet truck or electric pallet truck to the cargo checkpoint. There it is placed on a platform scale and the laser scanner from the measuring system 9750 already examines the object more closely. Length, width, height, loading equipment, volume, weight and photo are displayed,stored and documented. The system can also be supplied in approvable version in accordance with MID or OIML for weight and volume.

Measuring system 9750.70

The measuring system 9750.70 automatically detects weight and volume data of packages by means of conveyor systems in the course of operation. With the movement of the measurement object, a complete 3D image of the package is recorded. Based on this image, the volume measuring system then determines important characteristics of freight, such as the length, width and height of the measurement object and the real volume. 9750.70 can be integrated in belt conveyor systems without any problems. A flexible and modular design allows easy integration into new or existing systems. The measuring system can be supplied as 1-scanner solution for measuring of exclusively cuboid objects or as a 2-scanner solution for measuring objects of nearly any shape. The identification of the packages to be measured occurs via automatic or manual barcode reading via transponder (RFID) or via a direct connection to the material flow control of the conveyor system. Once measured and registered, the measuring system 9750.70 provides the data obtained on system-specific interfaces to processing systems - fully documented without a gap. The measuring system is certified for approvable applications in accordance with MID or OIML.

Data concentrator with interface software

The data concentrator with interface software can be integrated into an existing volume measuring system. The generated dimension and weight information from the measuring process as well as the barcode in the package label are transmitted via the RS 232 and RS 422 interfaces to the concentrator. The concentrator collects, prepares and transmits the data from the measuring to the host system.

For identification, the packages must be provided with a unique barcode. For barcode reading, the system has two alternative sources: an Omni portal laser and a handscanner for the manual scan operation.

Flexible integration capacity, network connectivity and maximum system accuracy of Soehnle Professional Terminals ensure precise control of faster weighing and dosing processes.

Weighing beams

The weighing beams consist of flat durable tube material, load cells and connection box are protected and accommodated in the structure. We use special load cell feet with rubber dampers for safe load input. The design height amounts to only 80 mm at a weighing range of 2,000 kg. If desired, attachment points can be provided for your structures. When equipped with height adjustment and spirit level, mobile application is possible, rechargeable battery operation for mains-independent weighing is available as an option. Weighing range, steel or stainless steel material, dimensions, cable lengths and the weighing terminal to be used can be determined individually.
